TROOP DOCUMENTATION
Here you will find lots of usable documents for the troop.
The Scoutmaster’s Minute is brief in duration but one of the most important parts of a troop meeting. Occurring at the closing of the meeting, it is the thought that will go home with the boys.
The Boy Scouts of America parental consent form is a form that parents or legal guardians of scouts must sign in order to allow scouts to participate in activities hosted by the Boy Scouts of America.
Parts A and B are required for all Scouts and adults participating in any Scouting events. Part C: Pre-Participation Physical. This part must be completed by certified and licensed physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners, or physician assistants.
This guide is intended to be a help to Troop 54 Boy Scouts who are responsible for planning monthly outings.
In Scouting, planning is a two-phase process. Long-term planning results in an annual calendar and a set of unit goals for the year. Short-term planning yields detailed plans for one month’s meetings and outings—and sometimes a little more.
In Scouting, planning is important to get things done efficiently. When scouts have a plan to follow it makes getting tings done more efficient and more effective.
